Note: I'm a longtime lurker of Kotaku (articles, never really looked at TAY and the community discussions tbh) but not at all familiar with the Kinja blog system, so I'm not sure if I'm doing this Tay/Tayclassic thing right. Also, if someone could tell me where I should post these between the two, that would be awesome! :) Thanks in advance!
Today is Monday, the start of a new week! I think technically Sunday is the first day of the week actually
That said, today I reveal to you the start of one of many new art projects I have undertaken:
Pokemon One A Day! The name is still under construction, but for the most part, it's descriptive of what the series is about - I submit in art form one new Pokemon drawing a day, until I've drawn every single critter known to mankind. All in order of course! I'm planning on taking weekends off, and possibly a few holidays, cause I think I do need a break every now and then :P I do have several other projects I'm actively participating in, so there's that, too.
Depending on what kind of pitches life throws at me, I'm sure I might miss a few days in the following years (there are THAT many Pokemon now) but I'll try my best to stay on course and deliver.
So yeah, back to the project. The idea is simple - to come up with interesting and distinctive attempts at representing and recreating the pocket monsters we all known and love. That said, its a way for me to explore various art styles for two reasons; because this should be very fun to do, and for learning purposes.
You can follow me on Tumblr and DeviantART (links at the bottom) to stay up to date, and I also plan to update the art here if it can pick up an audience. If its not too popular, I'll probably stop posting them here and use this Kinja blog to post up and coming comics from my "Crossover Junction" series (first comic will hopefully be posted later this week!) as well as Smash Bros. 4 Roster Prediction Art. In addition, I'm going to post art and videos from my YouTube channel series "SeeBonnyDraw", which has seen the release of 22 episodes in about less than a year. The latest episode released was Elizabeth, of Bioshock Infinite, and the newest episode, "Captain Cook" featuring art of Jesse Pinkman played by Aaron Paul should be live this week as well.
Whew, that's a lot of projects! Hope you're still with me.
Today we start with Bulbasaur, one of my personal favorites from the series! He was my first starter those years back in fifth grade when my cousin gave me Pokemon Blue out of nowhere. I was considering Squirtle because he'd evolve into the mascot of Blue version, Blastoise, but Bulbasaur was too cute to pass up. He's the underdog when it comes to his buddies Charmander and Squirtle in terms of popularity, but I know there are some fans of this green dinosaur frog plant thingamajigger.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the art and look forward to the rest of this series! Wish me luck in hoping this series can stay on track and that I can deliver some fun, cute, cool, unique, different, insert adjective here, interpretations for the future!

You can leave comments and/or critiques over there where I can respond to you! Furthermore, you can "watch" me over there so you can stay updated with the series.
And perhaps more important, if you could reblog this from Tumblr (link right below this) with your account, would help greatly in spreading around the series...Think of it like Pokerus :
Alrighty then, *Jim Carrey voice* thanks for checking out my art, hope you enjoy and keep up with Pokemon One a Day with Stormborn (Bonny John) !
