I was sitting outside my daughter's school the other day, waiting for her with the windows rolled down, because it was a beautiful day. As some of the other students passed me by, one calls out "What does the fox say?" His friends answered some nonsensical thing from the video and they keep going back and forth with different strange fox sounds. I just laughed to myself and wondered why the kids were still quoting that. I asked my daughter when she got in the car (finally) and she laughed too. She gave me an answer that I loved: "Mom," she said, "the geeks found it first, because we are cool like that. The normal people are just finding out about what the fox says now."

I was so proud of her, and proud of us geeks (her word...don't shoot the messenger).

So has there ever been something you were proud of knowing before the "normal people"? Something that made you cool before it was cool?

If you don't want to talk about this, feel free to talk about anything!

And Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have good weekends!
