Hello everyone, and welcome to the Open Forum, which is hosted by Kotaku's reader-run blog, TAY. This is a place to talk about life, video games, or anything else, so feel free to hop in and join in the topic discussion, or comment about anything. Then, when you're done, feel free to peruse the articles on TAY and TAYClassic. Is this your first time on TAY or the Open Forum? Then check out this handy TAYTorial!
Twizm here taking over for my main man Crisco as he's too busy bringing home that sweet sweet bacon.
I've decided that today we'll talk about friendship. Mortal Kombat taught me friendship way back in 1993. To me friendship is throwing ice hadoukens and throwing pointy hats and throwing spears into an unsuspecting chest. Friendship is just throwing things at one another.
That game was one of my first cooperative experiences in gaming. Having to learn all the special moves was really fun and it was even better when pulling off a fatality and not even knowing how it was done. Even when I did know the proper button combinations I could never get the timing right.
What about you my lovely TAYter tots? Have any fond co-op memories? If nostalgia ain't yo thang feel free to talk about whatever you like.
