Just like that goat. Well, maybe the goat's not that far away.
sniffles Z here with unsurprising observations, followed by a request. There are a couple of things this year's E3 taught me. The first being that the abundance of FPS games and Zombies made me shake my head. The second is (as you probably guessed from the picture) that 2015 is so close, yet so far.
Sure we have many great titles to look forward to as 2014 rolls on and we're still playing the ones that just got released in recent memory.
However, when I kept seeing 2015 at the end of the trailers for many of the games I wanted, I felt a longing, sad little pang.
So peeps, maybe you feel it too so post your best sad, fwp songs in the comments. Let's cry together.
And if that does not interest you, or you cannot post songs then let's talk about the game from E3 showings past that you really got hyped about and when it finally got into your hands, you were disappointed.
Mine was Uncharted 3. I love little Natey Drake and was giddy for [x amount of time] after its E3 showing until release date. I played it and while it was good, I felt a bit let down. I think it was mostly due to the fact that Uncharted 2 was so great that 3 did not feel as though it brought me anything new. I was still happy to see the crew though.
And I'll be damned if I didn't get all sorts of excited and melty when I saw the trailer for the new one as delayed viewing because my stream conked out right when it began. Psh. Let me go swoon again. Excuse me.
As always, feel free to Talk Amongst Yourselves if ain't nobody got time for Hall and Oates, Disappointment and 2015! It is the Open Forum, after all. Don't forget that the IRC Channel is always around for you to carry out discussions as well. If you wanted to give an admin, author, and/or friend a shout: You can find them on the DirecTAYry.
